Frank Yiannas (former chief of the “food” side of the FDA) has testified on Capitol Hill about the bacterial contamination at a Michigan plant that led to a baby formula shortage last February.

Babies, we hope it doesn’t need to be said, should not be getting sick from drinking formula.

Yiannis agrees, and his no-holds-barred testimony took industry and government alike to task for allowing this to happen and pointing toward reforms to be implemented to avoid a repeat.
