ServSafe® California Food Handler Online Course and Assessment

ServSafe California Food Handler Online Course and Assessment meets the requirements set forth by the California Retail Code (with specified exceptions). The law describes a food handler as anyone who is involved in the preparation, storage, or service of food. For more information about the legislation, visit calrest.org/foodhandler.
Food handlers must have a California Food Handler Card. New hires will have 30 days following the date of hire to acquire a food handler card.

- Time and Temperature
- Cleaning and Sanitation
